BERGI always privileged an innovative research that brought the Company to commit in different industrial fields such as the textile sector with the trademark BERTEX, the leather sector with the trademark BERGI and in the paper-cutting sector by purchasing the Company Pizzolato.

In 2005, the need of new challenges brought BERGI S.p.A. to create the BERTECH division: a branch devoted to developing automatic systems for the leather handling.

All trademarks of the group (BERGI, BERTECH, BERTEX) design and build their products internally while the sales network is widespread in all countries and uses local agents and engineers constantly trained and supported by Italian area managers and engineers.

Nowadays, BERGI is considered a leading Company and a reference point among the most advanced and dynamic firms of the sector and it keeps a prominent place both in the national and in the most important foreign markets.

Trademarks

The two commercial brands Bertech and Bertex, important assets of our company, have helped us diversify our investments and enter new markets through the development of their product lines. These new products are created in our factories, following the production chain of Bergi machinery to guarantee their quality.

Bertech is the range dedicated to the handling of hides throughout the production process, including solutions for sorting and preparing hides for shipment or storage.

Bertex is the product line designed for the processing of materials in reels (fabrics, PVC, foam, rubber, cork, etc.). The Bertex machines are derived from Bergi’s top-of-the-range models which, through specific modifications, are adapted to the processing of products other than leather.
