{"id":6520,"date":"2024-12-12T15:33:25","date_gmt":"2024-12-12T14:33:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bergi.com\/?p=6520"},"modified":"2026-03-17T12:30:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T11:30:11","slug":"we-invest-for-a-sustainable-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bergi.com\/en\/we-invest-for-a-sustainable-future\/","title":{"rendered":"We invest for a sustainable future"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Reducing impact, building the future: our commitment to sustainability<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <strong>2025<\/strong>, our company will reach the great milestone of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bergi.com\/en\/company\/\">60 years in business <\/a><\/strong>and to keep it up to date we try to <strong>renew and improve it constantly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have recently completed the <strong>expansion of our Arzignano office<\/strong> so that we can work more comfortably and safely in a well-equipped environment, but we haven\u2019t stopped there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At our Arzignano factory, in addition to the expansion, we have invested around \u20ac500,000 to <a href=\"https:\/\/bergi.com\/en\/sustainability\/\"><strong>reduce our environmental impact<\/strong>.<\/a> Work was carried out on: <strong>lighting, windows and doors, heating, and rainwater harvesting.<\/strong> In particular, we have replaced all the gas boilers with heat pumps and installed two water collection tanks, one for the fire-fighting system and the other for high-pressure washing of parts and machinery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We subsequently invested further in the i<strong>nstallation of a solar power system<\/strong>, which was recently inaugurated and will meet around 90% of our energy needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the <strong>Gambellara plant<\/strong>, we have eliminated the use of coal for forging, interventions have been carried out to improve the electrical system, and the smoke extraction system has been redesigned.
