Filtration systems for grinding and dedusting

To ensure safe and sustainable grinding and dust removal of leathers, while respecting the environment, it’s essential to use an efficient dust extraction and filtration system.

The filtration system includes filter sleeves and a dust collection system. There are two main types of filtration systems: positive pressure, where the dust travels inside the sleeves, and negative pressure, where the dust travels outside of them.

The negative pressure system is preferable for its filtration capacity and the ability to monitor the concentration of dust emitted into the atmosphere through filters placed at outlet chimneys, making it mandatory in some countries. However, this system is more expensive than the positive pressure system.
